My name is Kolby Rubeling. I am 38 years old and I am a self-taught woodworker.  I have a passion for using my hands and imagination to create Functional Art.

Creating Functional Art: Cutting Boards, Serving Trays, Ornaments and Coasters. 

My long-term goal is to upgrade my shop and equipment in order to take my designs to a larger scale with Coffee Tables, Kitchen Countertops, and Other Furniture.

I want to be able to connect to one's emotions, through my work. Being able to move someone emotionally through woodworking is a challenge within itself. The feeling to overcome that challenge is immensely gratifying. I thoroughly enjoy seeing the reactions of my customers when they receive their Functional Art. 

At the end of the day, it's more than just cutting up some wood and gluing it together. It is about enhancing one's life through Functional Art!
